Assistant Clinical Trainer

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Training

• Conduct Basic, Intermediate, Advanced & Front-desk classes to dental assistants
• Educate dental assistants on protocols and best practices
• Demonstrating proper techniques for tasks such as chairside assistance, sterilization procedures, and patient care
• Conduct relevant training classes assigned by Management, Principal or HR
• To stand-in for colleague (trainer when they are on leave / MC to ensure no disruption of training classes

Development

• Providing guidance and mentorship to trainees to develop their skills and confidence
• Identify training and development needs within organisation through performance evaluation and regular check-in (on-site or off-site)
• Evaluating DA’s competency through written exams, practical assessments, and observation of clinical skills to determine their readiness for promotion
• Addressing skills deficits through tailored in-house training
• Monitor and review the progress of the trainees and provide regular checks in clinics
• Help managers to solve specific training problems, either on a one-to-one basis or in groups
• Promoting a positive learning environment that encourages collaboration, professionalism, and continuous improvement among dental assistant trainees
• And any other HR or Training projects / initiatives and ad-hoc duties as assigned

• Minimum experience of 3 years as a full-time dental assistant
• Competent dental assisting skills for most subspecialties
• Independent, versatile, strong work ethics, good interpersonal skills & people-oriented
• Proficient in Microsoft
• Able to multitask and manage time effectively
• Able to speak both English & Chinese
