Dr. Lim is a recognised Specialist Paediatric Dentist registered under the UK’s General Dental Council.
She has worked over 10 years combined at the Paediatric Dental Departments at London’s Guy’s & St Thomas’ Hospitals, which specialises in treating children with complex dental needs and at King’s College Hospital, London’s major trauma centre. After over twenty-one years in England, she moved back to Singapore with her husband and two children to be closer to family.
She is passionate about delivering high standards of Paediatric Dental Care based on sound scientific research. She credits this foundation to King’s College London, her alma mater, where she was awarded her Master of Science in Paediatric Dentistry for her research into dental light curing units and their safe usage on patients with Xeroderma Pigmentosum, a genetic condition that makes them very sensitive to UV light and developing skin cancer. She enjoys sharing her clinical knowledge and techniques through teaching and has taught Specialist Trainee Registrars, Senior House Officer Dentists and Dental Therapists.
Dr. Lim has substantial varied experience in managing children with:
Extensive tooth decay, with a strong emphasis on preventive dentistry
Dental trauma such as fractured and non-vital teeth

Anxiety/nervousness using good behavioural management techniques, nitrous oxide inhalation sedation or general anaesthesia
Learning difficulties such as Global Development Delay, ADHD and autism
Medical conditions which require special consideration for their dental care
