Dental Surgery Assistants (DSA)

Responsibilities:

• Assist dental surgeon(s) in all forms of dental treatment.
• Attend to all patients seeking treatments and/or making inquiries at the clinic promptly and courteously.
• Maintain and ensure the cleanliness of the clinic and treatment room.
• Maintain dental equipment and instruments in good working condition.
• Discharge patients by dispensing medication, collecting payment, and scheduling of next appointment.
• Develop X-ray/OPG for assessment of treatment.
• Send, receive and monitor cases that are sent to the dental laboratory.
• Ensure a high standard of infection control

Requirement: 

• Candidate must possess at least Higher secondary.
• No prior experience required; training will be provided.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willing to perform rotating shift work (9 am to 6 pm and 2 pm to 9 pm)
• Willing to work on Saturdays and Sundays.
• Willing to wear Personal Protection Equipment for long hours.
• Must not be afraid of blood and saliva.
